Actor Karthi’s 25th film goes on the floors with a Pooja – Cast & crew officially announced!

Karthi delivered back-to-back powerful acting performances in his recent blockbusters ‘Ponniyin Selvan 1’ and ‘Sardar’. Meanwhile, Indiaglitz broke to you long back that the versatile actor will team up with the acclaimed director Raju Murugan for a new movie.

Finally, the much-awaited project went on the floors officially today with a pooja ceremony. Producer SR Prabhu is bankrolling this film titled ‘Japan’ under the banner Dream Warrior Pictures. The hot news is that the well-known actress Anu Emmanuel is headlining the heroine role while famous director Vijay Milton is making his acting debut.

Notably, Japan will be the 25th film in Karthi’s filmography. GV Prakash Kumar is composing the musical score for Japan. Ravi Varman is handling the cinematography for this movie with editing by Philomin Raj and stunt choreography by Anbariv masters.

As per sources, Telugu actor Sunil will also be making his Tamil debut in Japan. Taking to Twitter, the production house unveiled pictures from the pooja ceremony and wrote, “Delighted to announce that @Karthi_Offl starrer #Japan pooja happened today, need all your love” (sic).
