Sivakarthikeyan’s ‘Kanaa’ censor details

Sivakarthikeyan entered film production by launching his own company Sivakarthikeyan Productions and has chosen a woman centric sports drama ‘Kanaa’.  The film has been censored and the CBFC has awarded it a clean ‘U’ certificate and the team has planned a December 2018 release.

‘Kanaa’ is the direction debut of popular singer-lyricist-actor Arunraja Kamaraj the childhood friend of Sivakarthikeyan.  Aishwarya Rajesh plays the central character of a cricketer with Darshan debuting as her live interest.  Sathyaraj, Rama and Sivakarthikeyan play other pivotal roles.
