Speaking a ‘Vishwaroopam-2’ event on Monday, Kamal Haasan sounded pretty confident about handling any controversies that might arise ahead of his film’s release on August 10.
“The first part suffered because of a political reason. I am now a politician and I am prepared to face and tackle if any objections arise,” he said.
“It is my responsibility to make what I like and what people like. Those who have done this film have done it out of their love towards me,” Kamal noted.
Curiously, ‘Vishwaroopam-2’ has been described both as a sequel and a prequel by the writer-director Kamal.
The Makkal Needhi Maiyam president is not ready to mix politics and cinema. However, he had recently observed that there is a political subtext in the spy thriller.
