Kamal-Ilaiyaraj’s film from April 29

Universal Star Kamal Haasan's new film will go on the floors from April 29.  A formal launch will be held at the Nadigar Sangham grounds on that day.  

The film will be the 41st production venture of the actor's home production house Raj Kamal Films International. It will be directed by Malayalam filmmaker TK Rajeev Kumar of Chanakya (1989) fame.

Kamal will be playing the lead role alongside Ramya Krishnan and his daughter Shruti Haasan. The multi-talented legend has also penned the script for the film, which is touted to be a comedy entertainer.

It is being specualted for long that the Ulaganyagan will team up with his natural music ally 'Isaignani' Ilaiyaraj for the film after a long gap. Today this is a confirmed news.

Kamal and Ilaiyaraja have worked in more than 100 films in various language and have given countless number of evergreen super hit songs and brilliant BGM scores. The last time the two legends came together was the 2005 Tamil-Hindi bilingual project Mumbai Express.
