Ulaganayagan Kamal Hassan has never stayed away from expressing his concerns for the society, especially the Tamil language and its people. And it seems like the actor is going to take the subject to the international stage.
Kamal Hassan is all set to deliver a speech at the prestigious Harvard University coming February 10 in the annual Indian Conference of University. Importantly, the actor’s speech will include issues and problems that have been faced by the state over the years. Comparing Harvard to Nalanda, Kamal also stated that if we had continued our rich tradition we would be holding similar conferences a couple of centuries back.
Kamal also has revealed that he chose the topic of Tamil Nadu due to sheer necessity as the state’s situation has debilitated. “It is affecting my dignity as a man, even more as a Tamilian,” he said. It is also worth mentioning here that Kamal Hassan has already spoken at the Harvard University on the topic of Freedom of Speech.
On the other hand, Kamal Hassan is set to begin his poitical tour from his hometown Ramanathapuram on February 21. He will also be announcing the name of his political party and other details on the same date.
