As India has entered the second phase of Coronavirus vaccination in mass, with Indian prime minister Narendra Modi becoming the first to take the covaxin vaccine shot, many leaders and celebrities are following suit.

With this round of vaccination being for people above 45 years of age and with comorbidity, many have been taking vaccine. Now actor and Makkal needhi maiam president Kamal Haasan has taken vaccine at Ramachandra hospital in Chennai.

Sharing a photo of himself taking a shot of the vaccine, Kamal Haasan tweeted "I got vaccinated at Sri Ramachandra hospital. People who don't just care about themselves but care about others as well must definitely get themselves vaccinated. Vaccine for bodily disease immediately, vaccine for corruption disease next month, get ready".
