The long wait for Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan’s ‘Viswaroopam 2’ is finally going to end within a few months from now. It has been officially announced that the grand sequel to the 2013 blockbuster will be hitting the screens on August 10, 2018 in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.. Meanwhile the trailer of the film in all the three languages will be released in social media at 5 PM today by Sruthi Haasan, Junior NTR and Aamir Khan respectively.
‘Viswaroopam 2’ has been written and directed by Kamal Haasan who has also played the lead role in the film. Pooja Kumar and Andrea are his co-stars. Rahul Bose and Waheeda Rahman play important roles. Ghibran has provided the music score. Saju Vargheese and Shamdat Sainudeen have worked on the cinematography. Mahesh Narayanan and Vijay Shankar have worked as the Editors.
The film was initially produced by V.Ravichandran of Aascar Films and it has been later acquired by Kamal Haasan’s ‘Raj Kamal Films International. The film has been under production since 2013.
