The proposed Hydrocarbon extraction project planned by the Union Govenrment, in Neduvasal near Pudukottai, has incurred the wrath of farmers and the people. It is feared that the project, if implemented, will sound the death knell for the farming activity in that locality.
Kamal has posted a series of tweets against the project which is perceived to be against the environment and the livelihood of poor people. He has also appreciated the Chief Minister of Pondicherry for his clear stand against Hydrocarbon project.
