The Nadigar Sangam elections has been going on from this morning at the St. Ebba’s school premises in Mylapore, Chennai and most of the big stars including Vijay, Vikram, Suriya, Mohan, Sivakumar, Arya, Vishal, Radha and Ambika have turned out.
Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan who finished shooting ‘Bigg Boss 3’ late last night made his appearance to exercise his vote in the afternoon. He stated that it is unfortunate and sad that his friend Rajini could not vote due to a delay in him receiving his postal vote in Mumbai. He however dismissed rumours that there is a conspiracy to prevent the Superstar from voting as it could be due to a delay by the postal department as well.
Kamal also seconded views by others that politics should be kept away from the Nadigar Sangam and though he did not think about changing the name of the union he would support if the majority wanted it that way. Many movie and drama actors have expressed their anger over not being able to vote due to not recieving their postal votes as well.
