Satyabhama was a highly anticipated movie for Kajal Aggarwal as it marked her debut in a lead role. The makers of the film went all out with the promotional campaign, but unfortunately, the box office response was not what was expected. Earlier this year, the movie’s OTT rights were acquired by Amazon Prime for a fancy price.

The latest update is that Satyabhama is now streaming on Amazon Prime, without any prior intimation. Viewers might find it a pleasant surprise to know that the movie is now available to watch online. In the film, Kajal played the role of a top cop, directed by Suman Chikkala. She was praised for her performance and new look, but it didn't make the impact they were hoping for at the box office.

Satyabhama offers thrilling elements - a genre that suits the taste of the OTT audience - so it’ll be interesting to see how it fares in the coming days. Naveen Chandra plays the lead role and the movie is directed by popular filmmaker Sashi Kiran Tikka.

The storyline revolves around a cop (played by Kajal) who solves a crazy case and makes a thrilling film. Satyabhama was premiered alongside Navdeep's Love Mouli and Sharwanand's Manamey. The makers also organised some special screenings to create buzz for the film. Despite receiving moderate occupancy and average reviews during its theatrical release, the movie was a commercial failure due to bad word of mouth and lack of star power.

Sricharan Pakala composed music for the film, and Harshvardhan played an important role. Up next, Kajal will appear in Indian 3. She is also reportedly in negotiations to play the lead female character in a web series on Hotstar. Fans of Kajal are delighted that she played a powerful role of a cop on the film and they are keen to enjoy the film on OTT once again.
