Kajal Aggarwal to play a period role in horror film

Kajal Aggarwal is committed to doing a multi-starrer in Tamil. Also starring the star actress Regina Cassandra, it has Kollywood actresses Janani, Raiza Wilson and Noyrika, too, in other important roles.

The news is that the film, titled ‘Karungaapiyam’, has Kajal’s role set in the pre-Independence era. She will hail from a family of Zamindars in the movie. As per a report, the ‘Sita’ actress will be seen as a woman endowed with extraordinary powers. But, at the same time, she is accursed as per the story. 

Kajal seems to be gung-ho about the Deekay directorial. Kajal, as is known, is doing a Tamil movie christened ‘Ghosty’ as well. 

The actress will be doing two more Kollywood films in the coming months. Her second biggest project in Tollywood is Akkineni Nagarjuna’s untitled action thriller, which is helmed by Praveen Sattaru. Kajal is a RAW agent in this 2022 release. She has shot for ‘Acharya’, which is headlined by Chiranjeevi, in Telugu.
