Massive! Karthi reveals details about ‘Kaithi 2’ and ‘Thalapathy 67’

Karthi’s 2019 blockbuster hit ‘Kaithi 2’ which also wowed critics catupulted director Lokesh Kanagaraj into the big league.  He went to the next level by directing Thalapathy Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi in ‘Master’ and zoomed to the top by delivering the all time monster hit ‘Vikram’ starring Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil.

For long fans have been curious about the sequel to ‘Kaithi’ as the film had a open ending and Karthi’s character Dhilli was present in ‘Vikram’ too though unseen.  Further when it was revealed that Rolex played by Suriya is the mastermind drug lord in both ‘Kaithi’ and ‘Vikram’ anticipation went sky high.

Now fans are eager for a standoff between Dhilli and Rolex and have been demanding that to the stars and the director on social media.  Karthi during the promotions of ‘Viruman’ has given a lot to cheer not only to his fans but those of Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj too.

When questioned about ‘Kaithi 2’, Karthi replied that the film will go on floors next year after Lokesh completes the shooting of Vijay’s film which is of course ‘Thalapathy 67’.  This means that the much awaited Vijay and Lokesh project will commence by this year end and will most definately release for Diwali next year at the most. 

 So folks the wait for the exciting sequel is not that far away and if all goes well we will get to watch Dhilli vs Rolex by the first quarter of 2024.  Stay tuned.
