Today is the birthday of actor Karthi who entered made a stunning debut as a hero with the 2006 film 'Paruthiveeran' and has emerged as one of the leading star heroes of Tamil cinema.
Karthi is one of the few actors who would easily suit for urban, semi urban and rural hero characters. He is also one of the few heroes with a fantastic comic time which was evidenced in his latest release 'Kaashmora'.
After working as Assistant director Mani Ratnam for the 2004 film 'Aaydha Ezhuthu', Karthi played the lead role in the much revered director's 'Kaatru Veliyidai' which released last month.
Karthi is presently acting in 'Theeran Adhigaram Ondru' directed by H.Vinoth of 'Sathurangavettai' fame and 'Karuppu Raja Vellai Raja' directed by Prabhu Deva in which he will be co-staring with Vishal.
