Wow! ‘Kaala’ actress’s next in Tamil is with this fabulous filmmaker

Actress Easwari Rao has made a blistering comeback as Superstar Rajinikanth’s wife ‘Selvi’ in ‘Kaala’. Her performance as the most caring yet dominating wife has received enormous praise from everyone who has watched the film. 

Easwari Rao has acted as the lead heroine in a few films in the 1990s and the most popular among them was ‘Raman Abdulla’ directed by Balu Mahendra. Later she migrated to supporting characters and played Dhanush’s elder sister in ‘Sullan’ that released in 2004. Playing Prakash Raj’s wife in Silambarasan starrer ‘Saravana’ was her last appearance in a Tamil film before ‘Kaala’ though she was acting in Telugu films in these years.  

Now after ‘Kaala’ the highly talented actress is acting in another big project. She herself has revealed this secret in a recent interview. 

Easwari Rao is acting in an important role in director Bala’s ‘Varma’ which is the remake of Tollywood super hit ‘Arjun Reddy’. ‘Varma’ stars actor Vikram’s son Dhruv Vikram as the male lead. 

After a Rajinikanth film. Easwari Rao is acting in the film of a filmmaker who is a master of making close to real films and also won many national awards. An actress cannot get a better second innings than this.
