Jayam Ravi’s ‘Agilan’ to hit the screens on this date? – Buzz

We all know that ‘Agilan’ is one of the upcoming films of Jayam Ravi, who teamed up with director N Kalyana Krishnan (Bhooloham fame) for this outing. Touted to be a gangster drama, Jayam Ravi plays a gangster while his pair Priya Bhavani Shankar plays a police officer.

Agilan completed filming last year and was supposed to have hit the screens before Jayam Ravi’s magnum opus ‘Ponniyin Selvan 1’ but it didn’t happen. Now, the latest buzz is that Agilan is coming to cinemas before ‘Ponniyin Selvan 2’. According to sources, Agilan is preparing for a grand theatrical release on March 10. Red Giant Movies bagged the distribution rights of the film.

Sam CS scored music for Agilan. The movie stars Jayam Ravi, Priya Bhavani Shankar and Tanya Ravichandran and Harish Uthaman in the lead roles. The film will unravel the unexplored underworld of organized crime based around a harbour. The official announcement regarding the release date is yet to be made by the production house Screen Scene.
