Jayam Ravi starrer ‘Agilan’ censor reports out! – Storyline revealed

For the second time, Jayam Ravi teamed up with the ‘Bhooloham’ director N Kalyana Krishnan for the upcoming film, ‘Agilan’. The gangster thriller is on track for a grand release on March 10. All assets of the film, right from the first look to the teaser to the first single, have received a good response from the audience.

Now, the makers have announced that Agilan has cleared the censor process and got a ‘U/A’ certificate from the censor board. Also, the storyline of the film surfaced over the internet. The synopsis of Agilan was shown on a movie ticket booking site. Jayam Ravi plays the titular role of Agilan, a crane operator in the harbour.

The movie’s synopsis read, “Crane operator Agilan is responsible for illegal activities in the harbour, which Gokul is appointed to stop. He brings in modern amenities to put an end to this. However, Agilan is capable of overriding all the equipment and technology and continues his antics. Gokul arrests Agilan to find the reason for these activities. What happens next?” (sic).

Chirag Jani plays the counterpart opposite Jayam Ravi as the customs office Gokul while the female lead Priya Bhavani Shankar plays a cop. Produced by Screen Scene, Agilan also stars Tanya Ravichandran, Harish Uthaman, Hareesh Peradi, Kumaravel and others. Sam CS is the music director, Vivek Anand is the cinematographer and Ganesh Kumar is the editor.
