Jayalalitha’s relative has a complaint about Gautham Menon

Recently, the first look of the web series ‘Queen’, which is based on the late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and actress Jayalalitha was released. The web series has Ramya Krishnan playing Shakti, a character inspired by Jayalalitha’s life and times.  

Following the release of this first look, Jayalalitha’s brother’s son Deepak has warned the series’ team.  He said that director AL Vijay had sought permission to make a biopic on Jayalalitha but the makers of ‘Queen’ didn’t do that.  

It seems Gautham Menon and his producers have nothing to worry.  The director has made it clear that ‘Queen’ is not a biopic but a creative story inspired by Jaya’s life.  As such, the permission of Jaya’s family was not required.
