Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Jailer' directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and produced by Sun Pictures is turning into a pan Indian multistarrer. First Kannada superstar Shivarajkumar joined the cast and recently his Malayalam counterpart Mohan Lal boarded the film.

Now it has been officially announced that popular Tollywood star Sunil is the latest addition to starcast. Sunil started his career in Telugu cinema as a comedian and in 2010 debuted as hero in S.S. Rajamouli's 'Mariyadha Ramana'. In the 2021 pan Indian blockbuster 'Pushpa' he succeeded as a terrifying villain opposite Allu Arjun.

Sunil is part of several Tamil films that are currently under production that includes Sivakarthikeyan's 'Maaveeran', Karthi's 'Japan'. His inclusion in 'Jailer' will further establish him in Kollywood.

'Jailer' has music by Anirudh and stars Rajinikanth, Mohan Lal, Shivarajkumar, Sunil, Ramya Krishnan, Vasanth Ravi, Vinayakan and Yogi Babu among others. Eighty percent of the shoot is done and is expected to be wrapped in the coming weeks. It is said that a grand Summer holidays releease is planned by Sun.
