Is Mass Hero Joining Jailer 2 for an Exciting Plot?

The filming of ‘Jailer 2,’ featuring Superstar Rajinikanth and directed by Nelson, is in full swing in Chennai. Rajinikanth, who recently completed his portions for ‘Coolie,’ has now joined the shooting of his next movie.

‘Jailer’ was a massive box office success, collecting over ?650 crores. The film, which featured Rajinikanth as retired jailer Muthuvel Pandian, gained popularity with Anirudh’s music and Nelson’s commercial elements. The presence of stars like Mohanlal, Shiva Rajkumar, and Jackie Shroff, along with Tamannaah’s song, contributed to the film’s success.

Following the formula of ‘Jailer,’ a similar approach is said to be followed in ‘Coolie’ directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. Given this, ‘Jailer 2’ is rumored to have an even more refined version of this successful formula.

As the official shooting of ‘Jailer 2’ has begun, the cast announcements have also started. Reports suggest that Balakrishna might join the project. He was initially considered for a role in the first part, but as it was a minor character, Nelson decided to bring him in for a bigger role in the sequel.

The shooting commenced near a theater in Royapettah, Chennai, focusing on Rajinikanth’s portions. This schedule will continue for 15 days before moving to a studio in ECR.

In ‘Jailer,’ the antagonist Verma (played by Vinayakan) delivers a dialogue before his death, hinting at a continuation. This line might have inspired the storyline for the sequel. As expected in a Nelson film, Anirudh has already composed a montage song and theme music.
