Jai turns music director ?

Jai who made his debut as an actor playing Thalapathy Vijay’s brother in ‘Bhagavathi’ in the year 2002 has since earned the reputation of doing justice to almost all the roles he plays.  His hit list includes ‘Chennai 600028’, ‘Subramaniapuram’, ‘Engeyum Eppodhum’, ‘Raja Rani’ and ‘Kalakalappu 2’.

Jai is currently acting in a new untitled movie directed by Suseenthiran and costarring Bharathiraja.  The hot buzz is that Jai has already turned music director for one of the films directed by Suseenthiran and the team will make the big announcement during the audio launch of the film.

The same sources add that Suseenthiran is also keen on getting Jai on board as composer for his new movie starring Simbu which has gone on floors this week in Dindigul and other rural locations.  We have to wait for official confirmation on this though as there is also talks that Yuvan Shankar Raja is scoring for the Simbu project.

Jai belongs to a musical family with his uncles Deva and Sabesh Murali and cousin Srikanth Deva have all made their mark as music composers.  The actor has also completed his fifth grade piano training at the Trinity College London and looks like he too is going to fulfill his long time dream.
