Actor Jai's long delayed film 'Pugazh' was ready for release in the mid of last year itself but the film has still not released and it has seen many last minute postponements.

Now we learn from reliable sources that the makers have decided to release the film on March 18.

'Pugazh' has been directed by Manimaran of 'Udhayam NH4' and 'Poriyalan' fame.

'Pugazh' stars Jai and Surabhi of 'Ivan Vera Mathiri' fame in lead roles. RJ Balaji has acted in an important supporting role. Musical score has been rendered by Vivekh-Mervi duo. Velraj has cranked the camera while Venkatesh has handled the cinematography. Varun Manian has produced the film under his Radiance Media banner.

Silambarasan's long delayed film 'Idhu Namma Aalu' is expected to hit the screens on March 24. Jai has played a cameo role in this film.

If things go as per schedule, Jai will have two back to back release in two weeks of March.
