It’s difficult to match up to Lakshmi Manchu: Jyothika

It’s known that Lakshmi Manchu is playing a key supporting role in the upcoming Tamil-language movie ‘Kaatrin Mozhi’.  She shares screen space with Jyothika, the film’s heroine.  It’s the remake of Vidya Balan’s ‘Tumhari Sulu’.  And Lakshmi will be seen stepping into Neha Dhupia’s shoes.

The news is that Jyothika has spoken fondly of getting to work with the Manchu lady. Speaking in an interview, the wife of Suriya has said that it feels nice that she has powerful scenes with a woman in the movie.  “And the way Lakshmi Manchu performed them, it’s so good. 

She is that powerful woman in real life, too.  So, she didn’t have to act that confident woman’s role.  Working with her, I felt that it’s not really easy to match up to her,” Jyothika says, referring also to the fact that both are mothers in real life.

The two actresses will be seen shaking the leg in a song titled ‘Jimikki Kammal’.
