Is she the female lead of Balakrishna-Boyapati Srinu’s movie?

Ever since the Nandamuri Balakrishna-Boyapati Srinu project was announced, there has been lingering suspense over who might be the untitled film’s female lead.  One too many names have been heard in this context.  Sections of media started claiming that either Shriya Saran or Nayanthara will be the heroine.  Then came the news that ‘RX 100’ heroine Payal Rajput will be romancing Balayya.  The ‘Venky Mama’ actress, on her part, has refuted the rumour.  Most recently, ‘Iddarammayilatho’ actress Amala Paul’s name has been touted.

It seems none of the above actresses is going to be seen in the film.  The buzz is that a Mumbai-based model is most likely to be paired up with the ‘Ruler’ actor in the mass masala entertainer.  The unfamiliar actress will have a glamorous role in the film.

Director Boyapati Srinu, after the failure of ‘Vinaya Vidheya Rama’, is itching to deliver a blockbuster with Balayya.  The film’s pre-teaser, released on June 9, was a big hit in terms of the millions of views it got.
