Celebrity couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are reportedly anticipating the arrival of their first child. According to sources, Deepika is currently in her second trimester. Speculation about her pregnancy arose when she allegedly concealed her midriff at the 77th BAFTA red carpet event, where she graced the occasion in a stunning saree adorned with custom jewellery by Sabyasachi Mukherjee.

Deepika and Ranveer exchanged vows on November 14, 2018, at Lake Como in Italy, following a courtship of six years. Their love story began on the sets of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s romantic film ‘Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela’ and continued with memorable performances in ‘Bajirao Mastani’ and ‘Padmaavat’. Last November, they celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary in Belgium, marking another milestone in their journey together.

In a recent interview with Vogue Singapore, Deepika expressed her excitement about starting a family with Ranveer, emphasizing their shared love for children and their desire to instill family values in their future offspring. On the professional front, Deepika recently appeared in the aerial action thriller ‘Fighter’ alongside Hrithik Roshan. Her upcoming project is the sci-fi action thriller ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ with Prabhas, slated for release on May 9, 2024. Meanwhile, Ranveer is set to reprise his role as Simmba in Rohit Shetty’s cop drama ‘Singham Again’, featuring an ensemble cast including Deepika, Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor, and Kareena Kapoor. Additionally, he is set to headline Farhan Akhtar’s ‘Don 3’, scheduled for a 2025 release.
