Iniya turns cop for next flick!

Actress Iniya began her Kollywood innings with Vemal starrer Vaagai Sooda Vaa, directed by Sarkunam, where she played a village belle, and following the movie she had starred in several movies like Naan Sigappu Manithan, Pulivaal, and also in few Malayalam movies.

Last seen on screen in the Bharath starrer Pottu, the actress is all set to be seen as a police officer for the first time in her next movie titled Coffee. The movie stars Mughdha Godse (Arvind Swamy’s pair in Thani Oruvan), Rahul Dev and many others in important roles.

Speaking on the movie, Iniya said that she plays a cop named Sathyabama and her character will be a strong one, with action episodes, adding that this movie will be an important movie for her career in Kollywood. Besides this movie, she is also a part of Bharath’s next Kaalidas, and few Malayalam and Kannada films.
