Breaking: Jasprit Bumrah gets married to Sanjana Ganesan, shares pictures

Indian cricketer Jasprit Bumrah got married to sports presenter Sanjana Ganesan on March 15. Bumrah announced the news on his social media and shared a couple of pictures from the ceremony.

Alongside the pictures, Bumrah wrote, “Love, if it finds you worthy, directs your course. Steered by love, we have begun a new journey together. Today is one of the happiest days of our lives and we feel blessed to be able to share the news of our wedding and our joy with you.” The wedding rituals held on March 14 and 15 were attended by a small group of close friends and relatives. The guests had reportedly been asked not to even carry their cell phones as they wanted to keep the ceremony an intimate and private affair.

Speculations surrounding Bumrah’s wedding began when the BCCI released him from the team ahead of the fourth Test. “Jasprit Bumrah made a request to BCCI to be released from India’s squad ahead of the fourth Test owing to personal reasons. Accordingly, the fast bowler has been released and he will not be available for selection for the fourth Test,” their announcement read. Bumrah is not part of the ongoing T20I series against England either.
