BTS video of Kamal and Shankar in action on ‘Indian 2’ sets goes viral

Kamal Haasan after two and a half years gap has joined the sets of ‘Indian 2’ today (September 22nd).  A BTS video of director Shankar with script sheet in hand welcoming the legendary actor and explaining the scene to be shot has gone viral on the internet.

Kajal Aggarwal will be participating in the current schedule along with Kamal Haasan for a crucial flash back sequence that will have the much celebrated actor in a new getup.  Grand sets have been erected by Production Designer T. Muthuraj in Chennai where major portions will be canned.

Production of ‘Indian 2’ was halted in February 2020 after a freak accident at a film studio on the outskirts of Chennai killed three crew members.  Shankar had earlier this month shot several scenes that did not involve Kamal who was in the USA.

‘Indian 2’ is jointly produced by Lyca Productions and Red Giant Movies with Anirudh Ravichander scoring the music.  The much awaited sequel to the 1996 pan Indian blockbuster stars Kamal Haasan, Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Samuthirakani, Guru Somasundaram, Bobby Simha, Siddharth, Manobala and Priya Bhavani Shankar.
