At the beginning of the trailer for 'In The Name Of God', a character says that God strikes at the sinner without losing time. He pits the good God against Satan, who revels in gleefully watching the sinner ruin himself. Written and directed by Vidyasaagar Muthukumar, the crime thriller is all set to stream on Aha from June 18. It will clash with the Netflix release 'Jagame Thandhiram', which will stream in Telugu and Tamil and stars Dhanush in the lead.

Starring Priyadarshi as the protagonist, it has Nandini Rai in a curious role. Posani Krishna Murali seems to be a representative of Satan. A range of characters, lust, bloodshed, sex, cuss words, hawala money and more are thrown into the mix.

Produced by Suresh Krishna (the yesteryear star director), the web show welcomes the viewer to the world of greed, lust, power and sins.

Priyadarshi seems to have essayed a grey character. Unlike in his previous web outings, he is not your quintessential good guy.

With cinematography by Varun DK, the OTT original is edited by Nikhil Sreekumar. Music is by Deepak Alexander, while the art direction is by Vijaythenarasu and Subhash.
