Ilaiyaraja and Vairamuthu work in the same film after three decades

Isaignani Ilaiyaraja and Kavipeararasu Vairamuthu have provided many eternal classic songs. But the duo parted ways in the mid 1980s due to creative differences and since then they have not worked together.

After three decades. the two legends have worked in the same film! They have worked in 'Anbanavan Asaradhavan Adangadhavan' film albeit for different songs. Ilaiyaraja has rendered his voice for the 'Roadula vandi odudhu' song in the film which has been released today to mark the birthday of the legendary composer.

It is a known fact that Vairamuthu has penned the lyrics for the intro song of the lead actor STR in the film.

This has become possible only because of the film's music director and Ilaiyaraja's younger son Yuvan Shankar Raja. He shed his inhibitions to work with the lyricist who is not in talking terms with his father in director Seenu Ramasamy's 'Idam Porul Yaeval' and 'Dharmadurai' and the association of Yuvan and Vairamuthu has been continuing.

We hope the two great legends who have made their contribution for the same film soon work together for a film. Fans are waiting for them to reunite and recreate their magic.
