Icon Star Allu Arjun scores ‘half century takes’ for Pushpa The Rule

“The dedication of the crew, particularly Allu Arjun, showcased in ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ is truly remarkable, setting a new standard in Indian cinema. Allu Arjun’s commitment is evident as he gave an astounding 51 takes to perfect his movements in the introductory shot,” a source close to the film shares about the teaser unveiled on the actor’s birthday on April 8th.

Resul Pookutty, who handled the sound design for the ‘Pushpa’ movies, praises Allu Arjun’s professionalism. “He is an exceptional individual,” he remarks. “His clarity of vision and dedication to presenting his work to a wider audience is truly admirable. I’ve known him for a long time, even back when he used to observe the sound recording process on the set of ‘Ghajini.’ He has always shown respect and admiration for the craft, which is evident in his work ethic.”

Regarding the teaser’s sound design, Resul reveals, “It took me seven days to meticulously design and mix the one-minute teaser. In comparison, asking for such a timeframe from a Hindi film producer would often be met with skepticism. The commitment and passion of Telugu film producers are commendable. During the sound mixing process, the director entrusted me with full creative control, showcasing a level of trust and collaboration rarely seen.”

Resul further elaborates on Allu Arjun’s involvement in every aspect of ‘Pushpa 2’. “He has been actively engaged in overseeing the teaser’s progress, along with key members of the production team. This unified approach fosters a positive working environment, ensuring a seamless collaboration between departments.”

“Allu Arjun’s relationship with the Hindi film industry is one of patience and discernment,” he continues. “While he admires Bollywood’s work, he prioritizes projects that truly resonate with him. His recent success with ‘Pushpa: The Rise’ has cemented his position in the commercial arena, reaffirming his commitment to entertaining audiences.”

Indeed, Allu Arjun’s journey in the Hindi film industry may unfold in due time, driven by his passion for meaningful cinema and his unwavering dedication to his craft.
