I will direct only a legendary film: Balakrishna

The 'Dictator' says that if ever he directs a film, it won't belong to the regular genre.  "I can't direct films that belong to the regular genre.  I can only direct a huge film, a legendary one," he said.  Balakrishna many years ago had planned Narthanashala.  He and Soundarya were to play the lead roles in it, but the project was shelved after the untimely death of the actress.

Not many know that Balayya directed the climax of Peddannayya.  "The film became a big hit because of the climax," he said in an interview.

As for introducing his son, Balayya has a certain vision for Mokshagna.  "I don't want him to do super hero roles.  I would like to make him a likeable actor for middle-class women, for example.  In Aditya 999, he will be there for sure."

Some star sons had approached him for advice before debuting.  "I won't reveal the names.  When some star sons asked for my advice, I advised them not to debut along with their fathers."  But isn't Mokshagna debuting along with his father?  "Yes, but it depends on the character and the story.  Aditya 999 is tailor-made to suit this.  In fact, I was to play Mokshagna's role as well," he added.
