Anand Deverakonda, the brother of Vijay Deverakonda, today gave a heart-felt speech at the trailer launch event of his debut movie ‘Dorasaani’.
“Four years ago, I was in the US after doing my Masters. I didn’t go to the office on a particular day. I opened my laptop and looked forward to something special. That day was the day on which the trailer of ‘Pelli Choopulu’ was released. I got emotional on watching Vijay speak at the launch. The film went on to become a big hit, making me feel immense joy and pride. I am sure my family is feeling the same kind of joy today. I had tears in my eyes on watching the Trailer of ‘Pelli Choopulu’. Today also happens to be the wedding anniversary of my parents,” he said.
Anand said that ‘Dorasaani’ will speak for itself. “Come July 12, you will understand what I am saying today. My director KVR Mahendra anna is a genius story-teller,” he added.
‘Rangasthalam’ director Sukumar was the chief guest. “Don’t expect Anand to be like his brother right away,” he said.
