Is Tamannaah playing Trisha’s favorite role opposite Vikram?

Vikram’s new movie directed by Vijay Chander has begun inside grand sets erected at the Binny Mills compound in Chennai. The story is based on North Chennai and Vikram is reportedly playing a slum dweller.

Earlier the buzz was that the leading lady Tamannaah is also playing a slum dweller but now sources close to the team let out that she is actually donning the character of an orthodox Brahmin girl. It may be recalled that the maami role played by Trisha opposite Vikram in ‘Saamy’ was well received by audiences all over. However we have to wait till the movie stills come out to make sure if these reports are true.
