Actor Dinesh who had last acted in Pa Ranjith production Irandam Ulaga Porin Kadaisi Gundu will be seen next in the movie Pallu Padama Paathuka, which is directed by debutant Vijay Varadharaj, who is popular among netizens and the youngsters with the Youtube channel Temple Monkeys.

Pallu padama Paathuka is said to be a zombie comedy which also stars Jagan, Sanchita Shetty, Linga, Rishikanth, Shah Ra and the movie which has music by Balamurali was announced to be released on March 13. Recently the team released a sneak peek which has been criticized for its content against homosexuals.

Director CS Amudhan who is known for his Thamizh Padam series has also expressed his disappointment as he tweeted "Vijay Varadraj is one of the brightest young talents I’ve had the pleasure to work with. Have always admired his ability to write ideology in his own brand of dark wit. Which is why this horrifically homophobic sneak-peek is disappointing. I hope better sense prevails."
