Hollywood actor Denzel Washington has been praised on social media after a video of mediating with police officials to protect a homeless man in West Hollywood web viral. After Denzel Washington sensed trouble, he intervened to lessen the tension and was with the homeless man to help him.
The two time Oscar winner in the video can be seen helping and comforting the man and at the end of the video the man is put in handcuffs. Washington is seen by the man’s side throughout the incident and his act has been praised, as there was a recent death of a man in Minneapolis following police arrest.
As per reports, Washington was passing in his car when he observed the man was in trouble with the cops and immediately got out of his car and talked to the man to help him. Netizens have Denzel for his timely intervention as recently a 46-year-old person named George Floyd was killed by cops in Minneapolis, triggering protests in many parts of US. Floyd died in police custody in a busy street after a white police officer knelt on his neck for seven minutes.
