'HIT 2' hits the screens on December 2. At the film's pre-release event, Adivi Sesh said that he is glad to have headlined a film that is steeped in director Sailesh Kolanu's grand vision.
Sesh, recently seen in 'Major', revealed that Anushka Shetty would have turned up as a guest had it not been for cold. He profusely thanked SS Rajamouli for gracing the occasion, calling himself his 'Ekalavya Sishyudu'. He iterated that being on the set of 'Baahubali: The Beginning' was the greatest learning experience.
Talking about 'HIT 2', Sesh said that the film is riveting. He requested Netizens not to disclose spoilers. The male lead of 'HIT 3' will be revealed in the climax of 'HIT 2', he said.
When it was his turn, producer Nani said that he would usually grow jittery if Rajamouli doesn't watch his film FDFS with family. The 'Shyam Singha Roy' actor peppered his speech with his affection toward Rajamouli. Talking about 'HIT 2', the 'Ante Sundaraniki' star said, "We made a film with love and respect. This is a gripping thriller and I hope it will entertain you. Sesh is a terrific actor. He always works hard. Sailesh was a scientist, before becoming a director. His research work helped the film a lot."
Nani revealed that the 'HIT' franchise is going to have seven films in total. The last edition will deal with a mega case solved by seven heroes.
Sailesh Kolanu said that, even in a crime thriller, the crime and the associated emotions must be universal. "If you liked 'HIT', you will like 'HIT 2' more. This one is a more riveting film," he added. The director also said that the technical quality of the thriller is on the higher side.
Rajamouli was all praise for the core team. "I watched the film’s trailer and I liked it completely. I loved the background score. The 'Kodi Burra' connection is appealing. I am eagerly waiting to catch the film," he added. The 'RRR' director also said that Vishwak Sen and Sesh have lent energy to 'HIT 1' and 'HIT 2', respectively.
