Historic! US approves Pfizer’s coronavirus vaccine

In a great piece of news, the US FDA has approved the emergency use of Pfizer’s Covid-19 vaccine. The FDA said that the dosing regimen is two doses of 0.3 mL each, 3 weeks apart. Commentators have described the approval as historic.

The first Covid-19 vaccine to be approved in the US could be available to millions of people across the country soon, a commentator wrote. “Among the first to be inoculated will be health-care workers and seniors living in long-term care facilities,” a Bloomberg Quint report said.

Officials have been quoted as saying by the American media that its widespread use could be available within days.
