Pawan Kalyan and Mayawati on Wednesday held a joint press conference at a hotel in Vizag. Speaking on the occasion, the BSP supremo and former UP CM said that the Jana Sena-BSP-Left alliance will form the government in Andhra Pradesh.
"There is an undercurrent of silent revolution for change," Mayawati said. She said that Pawan represents "fresh blood" in politics. "Change is possible only with him. He is a leader with great social responsibility," she added. "Both Congress and BJP have failed to provide special category status to AP. If our alliance comes to power at the Centre, we will definitely accord SCS," she added.
Mayawati said that her party doesn't believe in releasing a manifesto. Jana Sena, however, has released one.
When it was his turn, Pawan said that he would like to see Mayawati as India's Prime Minister. "Under her leadership, UP saw very good law and order. She didn't spare her own erring party members. UP developed both socially and economically under her," the Jana Sena chief said.
