In these tough times against COVID, not only are we losing lives on greater pace but we, as a state, as a nation, are also reeling economically. This second wave has really disrupted the whole system. From shortage of oxygen to lack of beds, we've seen it all! Even in these times, there are rays of hope in the form of celebrities and organisations who really want to help the people in need. Seeing the current state of the nation, many other countries have also offered to help India politically and also on humanitarian grounds.

Tamilans abroad have really rallied together to extend a helping hand to the people of Tamil Nadu during such epidemics. In TN alone, the no. of cases sky rocketed to 26,465 people in a single day and due to this sudden surge in no. of cases, there is a shortage of treatment facilities and oxygen in Tamil Nadu currently.

In order to rescue Tamil Nadu, an organization, "Ezhunthuva Tamilakame" is carrying out a fundraising effort in collaboration with various organizations operating in the country & abroad to raise donations with a goal of $ 2 million. It is noteworthy that these funds are being mobilized and is given to TN on the basis that it will be a great help to Tamil Nadu, which is currently suffering from the epidemic.
