GV Prakash expresses his sorrow over honor killings

Two honor killing cases have shaken our nation. One is the murder of Shankar, the husband of Kousalya in 2016 and the other being the recent honor killing of Amrutha’s husband using mercenaries in Telangana. More saddening is the fact that the woman is pregnant with a baby.

Meanwhile, today Kausalya had visited Amrutha and paid her condolences. She also assured Amrutha that she would get her justice just as Kousalya got hers. A picture of the duo together surfaced the web and is being circulated widely. 

Noted music composer and actor GV Prakash took to his social page to express his feelings about the same. “Amrutha, Kausalya- not only me but anybody will not be able to pass the heartache of these two sisters. Let us nurture humanity, ignore caste and religion,” he said.
