Gunasekhar responds indirectly to Trivikram – Rana’s Hiranyakashyap

“While making God the central theme of your story, you must also keep in mind that God keeps an eye on your integrity. Unethical acts will be answered through ethical means”, tweeted noted director Gunasekhar this afternoon.

Tollywood star Rana Daggubati is currently in San Diego for the exciting Comic-Con event starting tomorrow. He’s there for two projects, Project-K and Hiranyakashyapa, a movie based on a mythological figure.

The issue arose when director Gunasekhar, known for Shaakuntalam, had announced Hiranyakashyapa earlier and even worked on it before Rudramadevi. Suddenly, Rana announced that he is making a movie on the mythological figure and revealed the concept art at SDCC 23, with the talented Trivikram as the script writer. The film is currently in the scripting stage.

This sparked a debate online, with Gunasekhar’s tweet indirectly hinting at Rana’s actions.
