'Gully Rowdy', which will hit the screens on September 17, features Sundeep Kishan in the role of a good-natured rowdy hired by a family. Neha Shetty plays the heroine, who is comically amused by his ways. Rajendra Prasad plays the head of a family that kidnaps someone in order to get their share of comeuppance. Bobby Simha, a violent cop, has a stake in what happens next. Sundeep's flamboyant rowdy character is thrown into the mix. Viva Harsha plays his sidekick.

The trailer has been cut well, with a Carnatic song used as a backdrop for an action block (not necessarily in the film). There is so much ease in the comedy, with the likes of Vennela Kishore, Posani Krishna Murali and Shakalaka Shankar also having a say.

Produced by Kona Venkat and MVV Satyanarayana of Kona Film Corporation and MVV Cinemas, the film has music by Chowrasta Ram and Sai Kartheek.

The film will be clashing with Vijay Antony's 'Vijaya Raghavan', 'Plan B', among others, at the box-office. On OTT, Nithin's 'Maestro' will release on Hotstar on September 17.
