Actress Deepika Padukone’s latest movie Chhapaak, which has her playing an acid attack survivor and based on the life of acid attack survivor and activist Laxmi Agarwal was released yesterday and has been receiving great reviews from critics and audience.
While Deepika has been appreciated by fans and critics for her performance in Chhapaak, there has been a news making the rounds that Deepika Padukone’s advertisement for central government’s Skill India campaign will be scrapped.
Though there has been no confirmation on the scrapping of the advertisement by the government, it has been said that the reason behind this was Deepika Padukone’s recent visit to the Jawaharlal Nehru University campus and extending her support to the students of JNU.
