"Pushpa..#PushpaRaj ho ya koi bhi, Our fight against #COVID19 is still on!", an Ad issued by the Government of India today wrote on Twitter. The image accompanying the text uses a morphed still of Allu Arjun from 'Pushpa'. He is seen wearing a face mask and suggesting that he won't be taking any chances with Covid, be it with the Delta variant or the Omicron variant. Bunny's 'Thaggede Le' still has been used for the Ad.
PIB's Gujarat arm shared the Ad, which goes to show that 'Pushpa' is a popular film in the State.
Directed by Sukumar, the film has pulled off colossal business in North Indian market, prompting commentators to wonder what has made it a big hit. 'Pushpa 2' will be shot this year. It will go on the floors in March.
Starring Rashmika Mandanna and others, 'Pushpa' is produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar of Mythri Movie Makers.
