Gopichand’s 30th movie announced with ‘Loukyam’ director

Director Sriwass, who debuted in 2007 with Gopichand’s ‘Lakshyam’, has teamed up with his first-time actor all over again. Like their first outing together, their 2014 film ‘Loukyam’, too, was a hit. They are now looking forward to delivering a hat-trick at the box office.

Their new film was today announced by People Media Factory’s TG Vishwa Prasad. Touted to be a family entertainer, the film will have the hallmarks of a Sriwass movie.

It will be Gopichand’s 30th movie. Sriwass has in recent years directed Nandamuri Balakrishna’s ‘Dictator’ and Bellamkonda Srinivas’ ‘Saakshyam’. After trying action and violent movies, he is back to the family comedy genre.

As for Gopichand, he awaits the release of ‘Seetimaarr’, starring Tamannaah Bhatia as his co-star. The film was supposed to hit the screens on April 2 before it was indefinitely postponed. It will release in August or September now. Gopichand is also teaming up with director Maruthi for a film titled ‘Pakka Commercial’.
