Gopichand is Kabaddi coach in Sampath Nandi’s film

Gopichand’s film with Sampath Nandi was formally launched today.  To be produced by Srinivasaa Silver Screen’s Srinivasaa Chitturi, it was attended by the film’s cast and crew members, including Tamannaah.

Speaking on the occasion, Gopichand said, “This is my first film with Srinivasaa Silver Screen Srinivasaa garu.  This is the perfect story that we have on hand. I am very happy to do a film with such passionate producers who always want to do good films with a strong story. Sampath came up with a superb script after ‘Gautam Nanda’. I am very happy working with him again for this film. I am working with Tamannaah for the first time. I feel our combination will look good on-screen. Her’s is a very good character in the film. She is also very excited about this film. DOP Soundar Rajan did a great work in ‘Gautam Nanda’. I am happy doing this film which has a great story and a good team.”

The director said, “For the first time, I am doing a sports-based film. I did a lot of research on this subject. Gopi garu will be seen as a coach to the AP Female Kabaddi team, while Tamannaah is doing the role of Telangana Female Kabaddi team coach. About 25 beautiful players will feature in this film. I am doing this film with a strong story, good visuals, and touching emotions.”  

Tamannaah said, “This is my third film with Sampath Nandi garu. This subject has very good content. I wanted to work with Gopichand garu for a long time. I am happy that it happened with this film which has a good story and team. My character in the film has a lot of scope for performance. I believe this will be a very good heartfelt film.”

Producer Srinivasaa Chitturi said, “I wanted to do a film with Gopichand garu for 8 years. We listened to a lot of stories. But, nothing fell in the place. When he listened to this story, he immediately asked that from when he can join the shoot. I am happy that he loved this story very much. Director Sampath Nandi is also very confident. Tamannaah too felt the same way after listening to the story. Our entire team loved this script and working passionately for this film. This film has all kinds of commercial elements. The shoot will start in November and we are planning to release the film in April. We hope everyone will get a very good name for this film.”
