‘GodFather’: Chiranjeevi’s film gets a new update

Konidela Production Company and Super Good Films are producing ‘GodFather’, which is Chiranjeevi’s 153rd movie. The news is that the remake of ‘Lucifer’ (Malayalam) will be shot in Ooty.

It’s learned that the action thriller will be shot in Ooty in the last week of this month for about seven days. Director Mohan Raja and team have already shot a schedule in Hyderabad. 

Thaman is the movie’s music director, while Nirav Shah is on board to crank the camera. Suresh Selvarajan and Yugandhar T are the production designer and VFX Supervisor, respectively. Produced by Ram Charan, RB Choudary and NV Prasad, the film will hit the screens in 2022. Rumouredly, Nayanthara and Satyadev Kancharana have key roles. These rumoured details have yet to be made official by the makers. 

As for Acharya’s release, it’s least likely to happen this year. Director Koratala Siva is shooting a song on the film’s cast on a set erected in Kokapet. The film’s post-production works have been completed simultaneously.
