In a filmi style, a sales girl working for a Heritage supermarket outlet in Indira Nagar on Thursday stormed a Kalyana Mandapam at Hyderabad's Banjara Hills with an FIR in her hand. The marriage of her alleged live-in boyfriend was being performed at that time. The FIR was registered by the Banjara Hills police station on the complaint of the girl. She said in the complaint that she had been raped by Akula Naresh, the groom.

To get into the details, the guy and the supposed victim were in a live-in relationship for several years. Although the girl requested the man to marry her, he kept on refusing the proposal. A few days ago, she found a girl's photo in his mobile. While the man told her she is her sister, the girlfriend thought something was amiss.

She discovered from common friends that Naresh was going to get married. She approached the police on Wednesday night, lodged a complaint, got an FIR registered, and averted the marriage.
