In a shocking turn of events, the state finance minister of Germany's Hesse region, was found dead and as per reports, he had committed suicide and as said by the state's governor, the finance minister was deeply worried due to the coronavirus crisis.

The body of the 54 year old Thomas Schaefer, finance minister of Hesse, Germany and a member of Chancellor Angela Merkel's Christian Democratic Union, was found on the railway tracks at Hochheim, near Frankfurt on Saturday.

After investigations and primary enquiries, Police and prosecutors have reached the conclusion that Schaefer must have killed himself. State governor Volker Bouffier said that Schaefer's death was due to the virus crisis. He said that Schaefer was worried about the possibility of satisfying the financial expectations of people and this worrying thought made him commit suicide.
