‘Geeta Sakshigaa’ Trailer: Make way for a fight for justice!

‘Geeta Sakshigaa’ is for sure more than just an investigative procedural and a courtroom drama. Its trailer, unveiled a while ago, is momentous and evocative. 

Actor Aadarsh, Chitra Sukla, and Raja Ravindra represent different forces in society. The first one is an underdog. The second of them is a lawyer with a proactive predisposition for justice. The last of them represents power dynamics in the context of an atrocity against a woman. Topping them is Srikanth Iyengar’s lawyer character. 

In a recent lyrical video titled ‘Evaru Nuvvu’, we saw the film’s conflict come through. “Real men don’t rape” and “Death to rapists” were seen on the placards held by women protesting rapes in that video. The trailer complements its sensibilities. KS Chithra-rendered ‘Amma Manasu’ and Sid Sriram-crooned ‘Andhala Chandhamamave’ are also among the songs that bring out Gopi Sundar’s talent. 

The film apparently has impressive roles for Roopesh Shetty, Bharani Shankar, Jayalalitha, Jayashree S Raj, and Anitha Chowdary. 

With its story written by Chetan Raj (who is also producing the film), this Anthony Mattipalli directorial will hit the screens on March 22.
